AfricFest Calgary is the premier African cultural festival in Calgary, dedicated to showcasing African excellence and conviviality. This free-admission event celebrates African heritage through music, art, food, fashion, and community engagement. AfricFest fosters unity, diversity, and cultural appreciation, bringing people of all backgrounds together in an immersive and lively environment.
Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut'ina, the Stoney Nakoda Nations (Chiniki, Bearspaw, Goodstoney), the Otipemisiwak Métis Government (Districts 5 and 6), and all people who make this land habitable.
